Step 1. Sort out:
1. Make the dog stand on the grooming table in the correct posture, and comb slowly from the hindquarters to the frontquarters with a needle brush in the opposite direction;
2. Comb the head;
3. Finally, brush the tail.
Step 2. Cleaning:
Warm tips for pet groomers: clean the ears and nails, and shave the soles and abdomen hair before washing.
1. Squeeze out a little pet bath liquid and dilute it with water, and control the water temperature at 35°-38°;
2. Gently squeeze the anal glands with the thumb and index finger to clean the anal glands;
3. When taking a shower, you should first wet the front body and rinse from front to back. Then apply the diluted bath liquid to the head and the whole body, gently rub along the head to the back, abdomen and limbs, and do not let the bath liquid flow into the eyes;
4. After rubbing, wash the whole body with water and apply hair conditioner, and then rinse thoroughly.
Step 3. Hair blowing:
1. Wrap your body with a bath towel and move it to the table to dry off the water;
2. Dry the remaining moisture with a hair dryer. Starting from the head, use a brush on one side to straighten each part bit by bit until the root of the hair is completely dry;
3. After blowing, use a straight comb to comb the whole body hair again to see if there are knotted or unstraightened hairs.
Step 4. Shaving:
1. Head: When shaving the mouth, use the right hand to hold the electric scissors, and the left hand to hold the dog’s mouth; shave from the tip of the eyebrows to the tip of the nose, cheeks, outer corners of the eyes to the base of the ears, and neck to the position 1-2 finger widths down from the Adam’s apple. (Cutter head: No. 40)
2. The four feet are only trimmed to the heel of the foot pads. To shave the soles of the feet, separate the soles of the feet with the thumb and index finger, and carefully shave off the miscellaneous hairs in between;
3. The part from the root of the lower tail to the anus is shaved into a “V”. Shave off 1/3 of the tail from root to tip with electric scissors;
4. Trim the hair on the back, around the body and abdomen with straight shears.
Step 5. Shearing and repairing:
1. The line of the feet and the feet are thin. Cut the hock joints thin to make the legs look very thin. Comb the reverse hair to the front joints, and cut the front legs to the ankles.
2. The waistline is in the middle of the body, that is, between the front and back legs.
3. To modify the outer layer of hair, first roughly trim the shape, and the legs are like chicken legs.
4. Use tooth scissors to modify from the root of the tail to the tail (about 1 inch long).
5. Cut the back flat (from the back of the feet to the root of the tail) (horizontally) and modify it into a drumstick shape, and the buttocks are apple butts.
6. From the waistline to the front, except for the bichon frize whose waist cannot be seen from above, all the rest should be modified by the waistline. For Pomeranian competition, only the line of the feet is trimmed, and the rest of the hair is not trimmed.
7. The hair on the waist and abdomen is trimmed.
8. Connect the head to the waist, comb the hair in the opposite direction, the scapular part to the occipital part is arched, the neck is only slightly modified, it seems that the neck cannot be seen.
9. The hair on the top of the head is flattened, and the two sides are slightly trimmed into oblique lines.
10. Comb the hair on the chest, trim the end into a round shape, and trim it with tooth scissors.
11. Trim the ears, pinch the ears with your hands, and cut the tips of the ears horizontally.
12. For the tail, comb the hair with a straight comb, cut off the tip of the tail, stick it on the back and cut it into a fan shape.
